Kyle and I were lucky enough to go to Virginia Beach! He was speaking in a youth conference there and I went to help with a booth there for Personal Ponderings. Our hotel was right on the beach. This was Kalel's first time on a plane and his first time to the beach. The flight there was... interesting. We went to the airport around 7:00 am we arrived in our hotel at 4:00 am. It was a LONG day in an airport with a 1 year old! But it was worth it, it was beautiful. It was so nice to be able to spend time with Kyle. We were able to play at the beach and walk around the ocean stores. It was a much needed vacation.

How fun!! I love when I get to go on trips with Dan. Traveling with a one year old is an adventure!! We flew to Hawaii when Jay was one for my sisters wedding...the trip was awesome but I totally feel your pain about the joys of the airplane ride and time zones.
